Woodbury University’s Annual Fashion Show, one of the many amazing Los Angeles fashion events lit up the runway once again at the beautiful Alex Theatre in Glendale, California, with a dazzling celebration of creativity, towering LED screens, and emerging fashion talent. This year, the highly anticipated fashion event honored acclaimed designer Adolfo Sanchez, whose work has made a significant impact on both the Los Angeles and international fashion scenes.
Celebrating Emerging Fashion Designers at Woodbury University
Every spring, the Woodbury University Fashion Show highlights the work of graduating students in the university’s Fashion Design program. I was so honored this year when I received the inquiry to come out and photograph the event for them as I love shooting fashion photography in LA. The show featured an impressive range of collections, showcasing bold silhouettes, cultural influences, and fresh takes on tailoring and texture, even showcasing some of the professors modeling the clothes.
Each student designer brought a unique voice to the runway, reflecting the evolving landscape of contemporary fashion. From avant-garde streetwear to amazing and unique evening gowns, the event once again showceases Woodbury’s role as a hub for emerging fashion designers in Southern California.

Honoree Adolfo Sanchez: A Leader in Modern Luxury Fashion
One of the highlights of the evening was the tribute to Adolfo Sanchez, the 2025 honoree. Known for his bold aesthetic, powerful lines, and couture-level craftsmanship, Sanchez has earned a reputation for creating pieces that fuse massive glamour with wearable sophistication.
His recognition by Woodbury University marks his contributions not only as a designer but also as a mentor and inspiration to the next generation of creatives.

With absolutely stunning stage design by Susan Koziak of Koziak Productions, dramatic lighting, and a professionally executed production, the evening created the perfect platform for student designers to present their work to press, alumni, industry insiders, and the local creative community.
