Hey There! My name is Lauren Scott, and I’ve had the joy of photographing countless moments for the last 12 years now. I was originally born in California, grew up in Texas and the midwest, with an immigrant father from Greece whose dream was that I would one day make it back to living in one of his favorite places, so I did.

I attended University where I majored in Photojournalism, studied abroad, met my husband the third day of college, graduated, made many memories with friends along the way, got married and have been living in California for 14 years now.

Studying abroad was a rich experience in that it really opened my eyes to different cultures and their ways of life. I like to look at people as not strangers, but simply friends I have not met yet, and that really carries over into my work as each and every client is unique. I love to hear all about my clients backgrounds/stories, etc, and I feel that this in turn helps to create a level of comfortability and understanding that translates better into our time in front of the camera.

When not photographing, my husband and I love trying new food, cooking, traveling, hanging out with friends, animals( love horses), and pretty much anything that involves the beach.

A random fact or two about me? I play drums, and I train in Aerial arts… so if you want to talk about have me dropping from silks or spinning in a hoop at your event.. that could be an option :).
