As a fashion-inspired maternity photographer, I draw inspiration from many things around me. From flipping through current fashion spreads, following up-and coming trends and my experience in working with models and learning posing techniques from them, I’m constantly working to refine my eye to the impact of the slight nuances of subtle movement. It is my passion to help create and capture these special moments of your life in a way that leaves you feeling beautiful, sexy, and confident . I specialize in capturing the radiant glow of expectant mothers, the precious process as you realize just how amazing your body is for being a vessel to the human you are about to bring into this world. My goal is for you to leave the studio with the feeling of confidence, grace, beauty, and strength all while feeling that you wish it wasn’t over.

One of the most common comments from my clients is how comfortable I made them feel. I’m not the type of photographer who will leave you in silence. Throughout your entire shoot we are constantly connecting, getting to know each other and creating beautiful imagery to last a lifetime. I love working with mothers-to-be and celebrating the miracle of life growing within them, all the while getting to know you for you who are and making a new friend along the way.

YOUR MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE
1. First, we schedule a consultation call.
This is where we chat all about yourself, your family, what you like to eat, do for fun, what kind of pets you have, this allows me to really get a feel for your personality type and how we might be able to incorporate certain elements within your life to really capture the true essence of you. Then we discuss all about what your dream maternity shoot would be. If we decide we are a good fit, we choose a date, I collect the full session fee, and you now have a place on my studio calendar. Don’t forget to mention if you will be wanting a full maternity and newborn package as those are a part of my offerings as well.
2. Next, we would set up a styling consultation either at your home or via zoom.
We would chat all about styling, clothing, color palette, what backgrounds we want to use for your shoot, and how you want the styling to feel. We also go over makeup preferences. If we are meeting in your home this is the perfect time for me to look at your wall space and give some pointers as to what might work and look best in certain areas along with giving you the chance to view studio samples of all the beautiful products I offer.
3. The next, and in my opinion, most fun part is the shoot!
You show up the the studio, are provided with lights snacks and refreshments, meet up with my amazing Hair and Makeup-Artist who will then go over style preferences, ideas and offer their expert advise on how to leave you feeling like a model (If you have opted for an outdoor maternity shoot, they will meet you in home). Once they are finished, it’s, “lights, camera, action!” I will be by your side the entire time, helping with posing, showing off that baby bump, most likely laughing at myself for the creative flurry my mind tends to take on whenever I’m behind a camera, creating memories… oh and don’t forget, Dad or other children, even pets can join too! I want this to be a truly memorable and special experience for you, whether that be a day to yourself, or a day surrounded by friends and family.
4. View your photos
Once your maternity shoot is over, we schedule a viewing appointment within two weeks to go over all the images, compare them side by side, and I’ll be right there to lend you my advice should you need it. We can discuss all the beautiful product options I have to offer and what would look amazing in your home. From there I send your final selections to my luxury editorial retoucher, place an order for your products, and soon after all your beautiful portraits will be ready to be displayed for the world to see!
If you have also booked me for newborn, we will schedule a time for that at the ordering appt.

FAQs
When should I book my maternity photography session?
To secure your preferred date and time, I recommend booking your session as early as possible since my schedule tends to fill up quickly and I take on a limited amount of shoots per month. As for the timing of the session, we typically schedule maternity sessions between 26-34 weeks of pregnancy when the baby bump is prominently visible and in a better position, yet you're still feeling comfortable enough to move around and pose for the camera. This period allows us to capture the peak part of your pregnancy and create timeless images.
What should we wear for our maternity photoshoot?
Typically we will go over some outfit ideas in our styling consultation prior to your shoot day. Depending on how much time you have leading up to your shoot, I have a few vendors I can refer you to, (some even have a special discount for my clients!) otherwise, I have a collection of gowns ( and growing) that I can offer for you to use. Another option that some clients opt for is a variety of fabrics that I carry for draping which can be used over nude underwear as well.
*Do note, if you plan on showing skin, or implied nude photos, it is best to not have an indentations in your skin from undergarments that you wore to the shoot. Please wear loose fitting clothing and underwear to try to avoid these lines being created from your clothes. These can be retouched out, but it is easier if they are not there in the first place.
Can you suggest a location for our maternity photography session?
Most of my clients are now opting for in-studio, especially for those more “intimate shots” and because it allows for greater control of climate, hair, touch-ups etc, however I have a collection of stunning locations that work perfectly for outdoor maternity sessions, and I would be delighted to recommend them to you. Alternatively, if you have a special place in mind, I can explore and make the necessary arrangements to bring your vision to life. Our goal is to ensure that you have a memorable and enjoyable luxury maternity photoshoot experience, and the location plays a significant role in achieving that.
How long does a typical maternity photoshoot last?
A typical maternity photoshoot usually lasts anywhere from 2-4 hours in studio, outdoors it tends to be a bit shorter, around 1.5 hours. This gives us enough time to capture a variety of poses and images that showcase your baby bump and your unique style. We understand that pregnancy can be tiring, so we take breaks as needed and work at a pace that's comfortable for you. We want you to feel relaxed and enjoy the experience, and we'll do our best to create a fun and memorable photoshoot session. The duration of the photoshoot also depends on the location and the number of outfit changes you'd like to incorporate into the session. We will work with you to customize the shoot to your liking and ensure that we capture the best images possible.
Can my partner and children be included in the photoshoot?
Absolutely! I encourage you to bring your partner and children, even a pet along for the photoshoot to make it a memorable family experience. Including your loved ones not only adds a personal touch to your images but also helps you feel more relaxed and comfortable during the session. I aim to capture the joy and excitement of this special time in your life, and having your partner and children present helps us achieve that. I'll work with you to create a variety of group and individual shots, so everyone feels included and has their special moment captured on camera.
Do you offer newborn packages as well?
Yup! Don’t forget to inquire about adding on a newborn session as no maternity experience is complete without them!
